Diagonals of an isosceles trapezoid are perpendicular to each other and the sum of the lengths of its bases is 2a. What is its area?
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Respuesta :

Area= a*height
the formula for an isosceles trapezoid is 1/2(base1+base2)*height. 1/2 base 2 and 2a will simplify to a  base length of a. a times height or a*height
it's a^2

the altitude is a
so....

(b1+b2)/2*h=
(2a)/2*a
a*a=a^2
