The rules of exponents tell you
  (a^b)·(a^c) = a^(b+c)
Then
  (2^5)·(2^x) = 2^(5+x)
Since 2^5 = 32, this is also equivalent to
  32·2^x

The appropriate choices are ...
  C) 32·2^x
  D) 2^(5+x)
