Explain how to find the value of z if you know that 100x*2 + 120x + z is a perfect square trinomial

Divide the value of "b" by 2 and then square it.

   (b / 2)²
= (120 / 2)²
= (60)²
= 3600

Therefore the value of z is 3600. That's at least what I believe lol

For perfect trinomial, determinant is zero.
Comparing given equation with general quadratic equation ax²+bx+c,

a=100, b=120, c=z
Δ=b²-4ac = 0
120²-4(100)(z) = 0
z=120²/4(100) = 36

Therefore, the required trinomial is,
100x²+120x+36
