Let f ( x ) = 2 x − 1 , g ( x ) = 3 x , and h ( x ) = x ^2 + 1 , what is g (h( 24 ) ) ?

You must calculate h(24) first.  h(x) = x^2 + 1, so h(24) = 577.

g(x) = 3x, so g(577) = 3(577) =  1731 (answer).  We don't need f(x).
