The three elements are: Erythrocytes(Red Blood cells), Leukocytes (White Blood Cells) and Platelets.

Erythrocytes - They maintain the functions of hemoglobin, which give the characteristic pigmentation of the blood.

**Leukocytes - It maintains the defense function of the organism as well as produce antibodies for the defense of the organism.

***Platelets - Maintains blood clotting function.
