We know that in order for a function to be perpendicular to another, it has to follow:

[tex]m_2=-\frac{1}{m_1}[/tex]

Where m1 is the slope of a function and m2 is the slope of the function perpendicular to it. From this, we will have that the function perpendiculat to y = 2/3x +3 will be:

[tex]y=-\frac{3}{2}x+2[/tex]
