Solve the system.

y=-6x - 14 ------> equation A

5x - 3y = 19 -------> equation B

solve the system by substitution

substitute equation A in equation B

5x-3(-6x-14)=19

solve for x

5x+18x+42=19

23x=19-42

23x=-23

x=-1

Find the value of y

y=-6(-1) - 14

y=-8

therefore

the solution is the point (-1,-8)

see the attached figure to better understand the problem

the intersection point both graphs, is the solution of the system
