Remainder Theorem

The remainder theorem states that if a polynomial p(x) is divided by (x−a), then the remainder is a constant given by p(a).

When (x+4) , then a = -4

We can see that

P(-4) = -1

In conclussion, then p(x) is divided by (x+4), the remainder is -1
