The sample space of a coin is, S = ( H, T) where 'H' represents the Head and 'T' represents the Tail

The sample space of a die is, S = (1,2,3,4,5,6).

If both events of rolling a die and tossing a coin occur at the same time, the sample space is shown in the table below:

The total number of possible events are 12 from the table above.

Hence, the possible outcomes are 12.
