The first step is to apply the property of exponents in logarithms:

[tex]\begin{gathered} 4\log _by+3\log ^{}_bx \\ \log _by^4+\log _bx^3 \end{gathered}[/tex]

Now, apply the property of products in logarithms:

[tex]\log _by^4+\log _bx^3=\log ^{}_b(y^4x^3)[/tex]
