The Collision model explains that for two reactants to interact and form a new compound (product), 3 conditions must be met:

1. Dependence on concentration:

The higher the concentration, the greater the probability of collisions between reactant molecules, and the lower the concentration, the lower the probability of collisions.

2. Temperature:

The higher the temperature, the more kinetic energy the molecules acquire, increasing the movement and the probability of collisions.

3. Orientation:

The orientation of the collision must be specific to avoid rebounds, and thus increase the probability of formation of bonds between the atoms of the molecules.
