Now,
From the formula to find the altitude :

Put the value of a = 8 into the above formula
So,
[tex]\begin{gathered} h=\frac{\sqrt[]{3}}{2}a \\ h=\frac{\sqrt[]{3}}{2}\times8 \\ h=4\sqrt[]{3} \end{gathered}[/tex]Hence, the altitude of the given equilateral triangle is shown below:
