We are given that a function and its inverse and we are asked to determine:

[tex]F^{-1}(F(x))[/tex]

Since the inverse is the opposite to the function this means that when applying the inverse of a function to that same function we get:

[tex]F^{-1}(F(x))=x[/tex]
