Triangle WXY has vertices at W(8, 4), x(0, 8), and Y(4, 2). Triangle WXY will be dilated by a scale factor of 1. What will be the coordinates of W'?

We can describe the transformation from the original points to the scaled points as:

In this case, W=(8,4) and k=1/4.

Then, the scaled point is:
