We use the slope formula

[tex]m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}[/tex]

We replace the given points in the formula.

[tex]m=\frac{-6-(-5)}{6-5}=\frac{-6+5}{1}=\frac{-1}{1}=-1[/tex]

Therefore, the slope is -1.
