By selling 48 metres of cloth I gain the selling price of 16metres.

Let SP of 48m cloth = 48x

Gain = 16x

CP of 48m cloth = 48x - 16x = 32x

Gain % = gain/CP × 100

Gain % =32x/16x × 100 =
