What would happen if one organism within your ecosystem increased in population increased in number how would it affect the other organisms in the ecosystem?

Explanation: The population of its prey would decrease. It would take up space in the ecosystem, that other organisms probably need. It would eat up the plants if it is not a carnivore, which is probably eaten by other organisms as well. so that plant population would also decrease.
