-5x-7y=3
x+6y=-19
solve for x
x=-19-6y
substitution method
-5(-19-6y)-7y=3
when u solve u get y=-4
since y is -4
substitute that in
x+6(-4)=-19
x=5
so (x,y) = (5,-4)
x is 5 and y is -4
