log_(10)(x² - 4x + 7) = 2

Take the base 10 anti log of both sides.
x² - 4x + 7 = 10² = 100
x²- 4x - 93 = 0

Quadratic Formula
x = [4 ± √(4²-4(1)(-93))]/[2(1)] = [4 ± 2√97)]/2 = 2 ± √97
