So, this means that you are multiplying both of the numerators and denominators together to get the product

You just multiply all the dominators between each others to get 1 denominator, and all the numerators to get 1 numerator, and you make up the fraction! :)
Example: 2/3 * 4/5 = (2*4)/(3*5) = 8/15.
