Miss maudie is an old woman that scout and jem see reguaraly she lives a few doors down from them she is a nice lady that takes pride in her garden, she is said to bake the best cakes in town scout and jem see her alot but as jem and scout grow distant with the arrive of there freind dill scout spends more time with miss maudie l, miss maudie doesn't have a bad bone in her body and always sees the bright side if things
