ANSWER:

The conflict in this story is Man vs. Man because both Hannetjie and Brille catch each other stealing and that brings conflict between them. Irony was used because at first Brille was stealing and got in trouble for it, but then later the warder was caught stealing by the same prisoner he caught stealing.
