Explanation:

First we have to divide the given number of atoms [tex](3.011 \times 10^2^3)[/tex] by the Avogadro's number [tex](6.022 \times 10^2^3)[/tex], so that we will get the number of moles as 1/2.

Then the 1/2 moles of carbon is multiplied by the molar mass of Carbon which is 12 g/mol, we will get the mass of carbon as 6 grams.

So the mass of the carbon obtained is 6 grams.
