Our initial velocity is 10 m/s and then the car accelerated for 5 seconds at 2.1 [tex]\frac{m}{s^2}[/tex]\\
Note that [tex]a=\frac{velocity}{time} \\v=acceleration * time\\v=(2.1\frac{m}{s^2})*(5s)\\ v=10.5 \frac{m}{s}\\[/tex]
So our final velocity is our initial velocity + a*t;
[tex]v = (10+10.5)\frac{m}{s} \\v=20.5\frac{m}{s}[/tex]
