whatever% of anything is just (whatever/100) * anything.
10% of 50 is just (10/100) * 50.
50 in this case equals 100% and x=10% well divide 50 by x and 100 by 10 which we will flip and it will be 10 over 100 and x over 50 and from this we will get 5 and therefore 5 is 10% of 50.
