If x = 4 we just substitute all the x's by 4:
9 - 2 (4(4) + 5) = → we solve for 4(4)
9 - 2 (16 + 5) = → we use the distrubutive property
9 - 52 + 10 = → we solve for 9 - 52
-43 + 10 = → we solve for -43 + 10
-33 → is the final answer
