cos θ = [tex] \frac{adj}{hyp} [/tex]
If θ = 30° ; adj = 2 ; hyp = x
Then cos 30° = [tex] \frac{2}{x} [/tex]
⇒ x = [tex] \frac{1}{(cos30)(2)} [/tex]
x = 2.31
